Stephanie's Trail

Me, my mum, and our friend Stephanie went on a walk today on "Stephanie's Trail." (The only reason we call it that is because she showed us where it is.)

PARKansas

So, my family has decided that we're going to visit all the Arkansas state parks this year! And, coincidentally, there are 52, which makes 52 parks in 52 weeks...

The first one we went to was the Toltec mounds. The weather was rather dreary, but it was good lighting for trees.
Exciting, huh?
Last week was much more picturesque hiking through Petit Jean Park.
I don't see why people don't like lense flare. I go out of my way to take a photo with it.
I refuse to post photos of the Agricultural Museum that we visited today for two reasons: (1) I had to use a camera phone, so the photos stink. (2) It's an agricultural museum. Not a lot of good photo opportunities. If you really want to see it, you can read my new blog! Because one is not enough!

The Big Dam (or Dang) Bridge

My family and I took a walk on a pedestrian bridge that goes over the river near downtown Little Rock. Besides the fact that it was exceedingly hot (95 degrees) and humid, I rather enjoyed myself with the photo opportunities that came. I'm sure I looked rather strange to all the power walkers and bicyclists when I would stop suddenly and take a picture of the ground, but who cares?
