Suspense...

So, no posts for a while.

Well. That was, um, my plan! To, um, leave you in suspense!

Anyway, lots of photography-related things have happened to me since my last post! For instance, I GOT PAID TO TAKE PHOTOS. (I believe I already made that clear, but just in case I thought I should just casually throw that in there.) I got to play around with Craig's camera that day, too which was awesome. (He has a very nice Sony DSLR and he had just bought a new 50mm lense. I'll post the other photos I took with it later. See what I did there? More suspense!) If I didn't already tell you, Craig is my sister's boyfriend. This is a very backlit Craig:
Also, I GOT A NEW CAMERA! Nothing terribly fancy, I haven't quite made it to SLR status yet, but it is considerably better than my old one which has been having trouble, poor dear. Here is a rather blurry photo taken of the NEW camera with the OLD one:
And now, for your viewing pleasure, the photos that I was PAID to take! Meet the Moren family:
They're a rather photogenic family, wouldn't you say?

The Hap-happiest Time of the Year

So, my darling mum has agreed to let me be in charge of the Christmas decorating! My poor family...

WARNING: There will probably be a lot of Christmas-y posts soon (unless I lose steam and quit making decorations) so if your name is Ebeneezer Scrooge or Mr. Grinch or anything of that sort I would advise you to stop reading this blog. Just in case.
Fatboy likes the new decorations, even if no one else does.

The Big Dam (or Dang) Bridge

My family and I took a walk on a pedestrian bridge that goes over the river near downtown Little Rock. Besides the fact that it was exceedingly hot (95 degrees) and humid, I rather enjoyed myself with the photo opportunities that came. I'm sure I looked rather strange to all the power walkers and bicyclists when I would stop suddenly and take a picture of the ground, but who cares?

Havahd

I am sorry to say, dear blog that I have gone out of order. "Oh Carly, who organizes her bookshelves by author and her closet by color, how could you? The world is going to end!"

Anyway.

Here are some rather late pictures from a trip to Boston a few weeks ago.

We just happened to be there on Memorial weekend. It was amazing how many flags they had in this park. We couldn't tell what they were from far away.
This was right outside the Old North Church. I forget what it was for. Vietnam, maybe.
There's just something I like about this picture. He looks so perky.
