The First Days of Spring
"Spring has Sprung!"
Or so it says on every shop window advertising "Spring Sales." For once, I have to agree with the businesses of the world and declare that Spring, indeed, has sprung. At least in our backyard.

Photogenic
There are moments when you don't really need any skill in photography to get a good photograph. I've been having a lot of these lately.
Photogenic: adj. \ˌfō-tə-ˈje-nik, -ˈjē-\ "suitable for being photographed especially because of visual appeal"

PARKansas
So, my family has decided that we're going to visit all the Arkansas state parks this year! And, coincidentally, there are 52, which makes 52 parks in 52 weeks...
The first one we went to was the Toltec mounds. The weather was rather dreary, but it was good lighting for trees.

Last week was much more picturesque hiking through Petit Jean Park.
I don't see why people don't like lense flare. I go out of my way to take a photo with it.
I refuse to post photos of the Agricultural Museum that we visited today for two reasons: (1) I had to use a camera phone, so the photos stink. (2) It's an agricultural museum. Not a lot of good photo opportunities. If you really want to see it, you can read my new blog! Because one is not enough!
